The Unshapely Tank

I finished the Tank last night, roughly sewed it up but its just too big. Oh well. I will frog it at some stage.
Now back to the big bag!

A little update.

I haven't had much time to knit this week, I did finish the front of the tank and have started the back, but less than a quarter done.
I really can't afford to buy more yarn at the moment, have two lots on their way to me currently and have 2 large plastic tubs full under my bed....its an addiction, especially when I see nice hand dyed sock yarns cheap!

Time for another project.

I've been slogging away on getting the BIG bag finished, have done nearly 3 handles and one to go, but getting a big annoyed with it this week, so last night I started another project.
I cast on the Shapely Tee (http://www.whiteliesdesigns.com/patterns/lpullovers/fbc.html) last night. I'm using Patons Smoothie DK yarn, 100% acrylic in the rainbow colourway.
It will be interesting to see how it turns out, its my first fitted garment.

Iphone Cover

I finished this on Sunday, a new house for my new Iphone. Just a couple of cheap balls of wool from Lincraft and this pattern. It felted up well, and the skull is off a big paperclip I had.

Finished....

I just finished knitting this cushion cover and embroidering it...no pattern used and my first go at using Chain stitch. It's for my friends Daughters 1st birthday and there is a polar fleece blanket to go with it which I will attempt to embroider her initial on too.

Beanie time...

This week I've been knitting a beanie for a friends birthday. I started early in the week and was done on Thursday, but it was way too small. So last night I sat up until midnight knitting it again. It's done!

I have finally finished my first Chevron Scarf. It is currently blocking (first time I've ever blocked anything too) Two skeins of Koigu KPPPM have given me a blocked length of 145cm.
Also assisted my daughter in knitting herself a couple of mulitcolour wrist warmers in neon colours for her school production costume and started a cushion cover for a friends daughters 1st birthday pressie.
This week I need to knit a beanie for a birthday pressie for a guy at work.

Not much of an update really...

Not much going on, still frantically working on the Chevron scarf. Three days left of the Olympics and I'm not sure if I'll get it done before the end but I'll try.
Have a few projects lined up after this, will post more when the time comes.

Hipi's knitting blog begins.

So, I've decided to start knitting blog. This is the first post...bear with me while I get it up and running.

I'm currently taking part in the Ravelympics on Ravelery....I'm part of Team Tardis and my event is the Scarf Stroke. It's looking pretty good so far. My first go at a Chevron scarf, made the Koigu KPPPM yarn.
